Indigenous language classes for adults

Native Montreal is proud to contribute to the revitalization of Indigenous languages by offering free languages courses to its members. These introductory courses are designed to provide opportunities for Indigenous people to learn their languages and will help Indigenous people that have limited knowledge of their languages to improve them. We also want to provide an opportunity for non Indigenous people to discover one of the indigenous languages spoken in Quebec.

Next semester starts on: Week of September 9th 2019

How to register:

Registration are now closed for Fall 2019

Next registration will be at the beginning of December 2019 for Winter 2020

Registration process:
You will need to create a Logizone account to access the final part of the registration. All personal information is treated confidentially and can only be accessed by employees responsible of Native Montreal programs.

Only one application is accepted per semester, so please choose carefully which course you are interested in the most.

Since our classes have a limited number of places, we have established a priority list that reflects the needs of our community:

1- Indigenous member (First Nations, Inuit and Métis)

2- Non-Indigenous member who is linked to an indigenous person (foster care, parent, children, partner...)

3- Non-Indigenous member who works with the community (social worker, nurse...)

4- Non-Indigenous member.

Please note that the date of registration will also be added to the priority listed above.
