Iorahkote (Sunshine) 2019 summer day camp

Native Montreal is pleased to offer Indigenous children between the ages of 5 and 12 an educational and cultural day camp in an urban setting, since the summer of 2017. Throughout the summer children will explore Montreal through fun outings and will engage in Indigenous cultural activities (ex hoop dancing, throat singing, crafting), along with various other arts-based, athletic and educational activities. The 2019 camp is placing additional emphasis on providing land-based, outdoor learning opportunities to children as well as learning Indigenous languages. Please register only for the weeks your child(ren) will be participating. The camp location will be at CEDA (2515 Rue Delisle, Montreal). The entire camp, like all activities at Native Montreal, is free of charge. Please register only for the weeks your child(ren) will be participating.

The 2019 day camp runs from June 25th to August 23rd. Choose the weeks that interest you.

 

Camp hours: 9:00am - 4:00pm

Morning childcare service: 8:00am - 9:00am

Evening childcare service: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

Cost: Free

 

 **Spaces are limited so first come, first served. Parents/guardians will receive a confirmation email with the status of their child(ren)’s registration (accepted/waiting list).
