Interested in knowing your rights as Aboriginal?

Native Montreal is offering you the opportunity to take part in this exciting project on human rights, which will allow you to tour various organizations that will offer workshops on human rights based on their expertise. Hence, the tour will allow you to meet:

  • Amnesty International
  • Aboriginal lawyer Marie-Ève Bordeleau
  • Commission on Human Rights and Children’s Rights
  • Montreal Youth Council
  • Equitas
  • Exeko
  • Québec Native Women

In addition to getting to know these organizations, you, and other young Aboriginals, will learn to do a human rights campaign! Afterwards, you can share the knowledge you have acquired with other young Aboriginals. Because of you, young Aboriginals from all horizons will be better equipped to exercise their rights!

Indeed, you will hold an important event on young Aboriginals rights. You will be able to make a presentation and give a speech, have a stand, create a website, participate in the production of a video and, obviously, launch your achievements with an event that will unite and meet your needs and desires! You will be responsible for the project!

If you are aged between 16 and 24 and you are Aboriginal, you are an ideal candidate. Other members may also participate in the program as mentors! You just need to inform me of your interest and we can discuss it more in details. But hurry up! There are only 10-12 places left!
